A Day in the Life of Newcastle – photography Exhibition

“A Day in the Life of Newcastle” is an exhibition by Newcastle (upon Tyne) City Learning photography students with additional contributions from photographers in Shinshiro, Japan and Newcastle, South Africa. The initial exhibition is at the Gosforth Civic Theatre in the north of Newcastle to be followed by the principal exhibition in the main City Library in September. We hope that this project can be replicated so that photographers from other Newcastles can participate in future editions. Newcastle upon Tyne Elders Council’s “Older Voices” Radio Station to feature Newcastles of the World

Newcastles of the World is to be featured as the main theme for this coming Friday 2nd July on OLDER VOICES, the regular radio programme of the Elders Council of Newcastle upon Tyne. It’s on between 14.00 and 16.00 UK time (15.00-17.00 Central European Time, 09.00-11.00 Canada/US Eastern time). The 11-strong broadcast team (median age 81) are all members of the Elders Council.
